Music Trails Workshops Announced for April
You've heard about the Blue Ridge Music Trails of North Carolina; you may have attended one of the Listening Sessions held in 2013. Your input and interest have helped to guide the development of this region-wide initiative.
Now, come and learn how to connect to the Blue Ridge Music Trails of North Carolina (BRMT) in meaningful ways that will benefit you and your community. Learn how to participate in the BRMT website. Take home a toolkit for marketing our traditional music-related events and businesses. Learn how you can become part of the bigger traditional music picture in Western North Carolina.
Two workshops are scheduled:
- Thursday, April 10 at the Jackson County Public Library in Sylva, 2 – 4 pm. Cost is $10 per person and includes afternoon refreshments.
- Wednesday, April 30 at the Old Rock School in Valdese, 10 am – 1 pm. Cost is $15 and includes lunch.
