Step into the heart of the Appalachian soul as the WCU’s Bardo Arts Center and Mountain Heritage Center present Echoes Across the Smokies: A Night of Bluegrass, Ballads, and Tall Tales, an unforgettable event celebrating the rich tapestry of mountain culture. This enchanting evening begins with storytelling trio Sheila Kay Adams, Donna Ray Norton, and William Ritter will start the night with storytelling and generations-old ballad singing. Headlining the event are the Kruger Brothers with the Kontras Quartet. With a unique blend of bluegrass, folk, and classical influences, their music flows like a gentle river, guiding listeners through a rich tapestry of emotions.
