The 3b Music Festival is hosted at Fiddler's Grove, the site of the oldest continuous-run bluegrass music festival in the country. Now in its 6th year, 3b shares the spirit of the Fiddler's Grove Festival: showcasing American folk music in a family environment while supporting education. Originally dubbed “3b: Bluegrass, Blues, and Barbecue,” the festival has evolved to include a variety of American music. All proceeds from the festival support American Renaissance School, a K-8 arts-centered public charter school.
The main stage at Fiddler's Grove is nestled between the trees at the bottom of a gentle slope. You'll want to bring a blanket or lawn chairs to settle in and enjoy the day in this beautiful outdoor location. This venue is a family-friendly environment; alcohol, drugs, and pets are strictly prohibited. To the left of the main stage, one can find a variety of food vendors. The hallmark cuisine of 3b is traditional North Carolina Barbecue; however, one can also find staples such as sweet tea, cole slaw, baked beans, lemonade, and other treats. Another hallmark of the 3b Music Festival is the children's area. Our staff volunteers have planned many exciting activities for the young ones! Past activities have included face painting, craft making, a petting zoo, and more! Additionally, one can find craft vendor booths set up between the children's area and the main stage. You can also find various 3b souvenirs. Remember: all vendors and souvenir sales help support 3b and American Renaissance School.
