In the hometown of Earl Scruggs, Shelby, N.C., we will be holding our second annual Apple Butter Festival on Saturday, Music lovers are invited to come and enjoy four bands throughout the day. Bluegrass is featured from 11:45 am – 1:15 pm and other music features singer-songwriter and 70's & 80's music. The festical is an old time fall festival with breakfast biscuits, apple butter and homemade baked good for sale, an antique car display (this year including the REO Speedwagon recovered from the bottom of Lake Lure) a Schiele museum exhibit, artisans and vendors and a bouncy house for the kids, hot dogs and hamburgers at lunchtime. It's a bushel of fun!
