Our Heritage Day and Wood Kiln Opening is always the last Saturday in June. We fire a wood kiln a few days before the event and unload it at 10am the day of the festival. It will be loaded with lots of face jugs by Michael and Lula. Santas, Wizards, Monday Friday jugs and more. Janet will have pitchers, candlestick and other traditional shapes. Glenn and Ina will have swirl vases, and handbuilt items. Live bluegrass music with the Dollar Brothers and some other local favorites will be on stage from 11-3. Lunch will be served. The festival also features other artist selling and demonstrating their work. Handmade baskets, dulcimers, banjos, and more.
