Using the international language of Bill Monroe’s music as our foundation and common bond, friendships are made and renewed each September as we celebrate the Father of Bluegrass, and his contributions to the world of music!
Participants will have over 100 classes to choose from, one-on-one knee-to-knee individual tutorials with an instructor of their choice, organized slow, intermediate and fast jams to join each evening, daily Special Presentations that enhance the formal instruction portion each day, a Saturday evening Concert led by our instructional staff, a pre-camp welcome Square Dance with traditional caller, the traditional pre-camp opening night pizza party jam, and so much more!

The 2019 camp will be hosted in a new location, Lake Junaluska Conference & Retreat Center, which is nestled in a beautiful valley with panoramic vistas of the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains. With on-site accommodations and dining options, a 2.4 mile walking track around a 200 acre lake, a 24-hour fitness center, on-site cafe and close proximity to the Asheville Music scene.
Registration available for Adults, Pre-Teens/Teenagers and Full Time Students with discounts/scholarships available. After July 1, 2018 payment in full is due for registration, housing, meal plan and t-shirt.
