Our Music on Main Summer Street Party is a free, fun, and family-friendly event that takes place on the first Saturday night in June, July, August, and we wrap up with a special event in September. Each month’s event features a different band.
For 2024 we’ll have Phatt City in June, Appalachian Road Show in July, and Eight Track Minds in August. In September, we move to the big stage at the Alleghany County Fairgrounds, where you can enjoy a fair-style atmosphere and lots of fun surprises – stay tuned for more information!
During each Music on Main event, we coordinate with town merchants to keep the galleries open late. You can enjoy free music on the street, in restaurants, and inside other venues. The outdoor headliner concert kicks off at 7pm. Bring your family, gather with friends, and meet new people!
