Join us for an informal Appalachian ballad circle in honor of singer and storyteller Bobby McMillon, and as part of the Bobby McMillon Legacy Project funded by a grant from South Arts. Ballads are traditional songs that tell stories and Madison County is known world-wide for its ballad-singing tradition.
At a round robin, singers will sit in a circle and take turns sharing a song. You are welcome to come and listen, but if you know a traditional ballad and would like to share it, please let us know!
