Local storyteller, Kanute Rarey, hosts this monthly Friday night OPEN MIC Night – Stories on the Square is for singers, musicians, songwriters, storytellers, writers and poets. This welcoming event is at the Corner Coffee and Wine Shop on the Courthouse square in Hayesville, North Carolina. The Stories on the Square event brings folks together in the mountain tradition of making music and storytelling. The event is free to the public.
