If you love to flatfoot, clog, square dance, or tap your foot to old time mountain music, the Alleghany Jubilee is where you want to be! We are open year-round with a spacious wood dance floor and live mountain music every Saturday night.

The Jubilee, as it is known in Sparta, was originally held at the Spartan movie theater. Agnes and Ernest Joines reworked the interior to create the perfect place for dancing, meeting old (or new) friends, or just listening to the music of the hills. In January 2025, the Alleghany Jubilee moved to a temporary space at the Sparta United Methodist Church.
