We welcome the Darren Nicholson Trio to the Ebbs Chapel as the inaugural artist of the Trail Head Lodge Summer Concert Series that serves to promote the value of stories, folk lore history, and song with emphasis on the creativity and artistry of songwriters in the traditions of Western North Carolina and Blue Ridge mountain music. Darren Nicholson hails from Haywood, NC.
DARREN NICHOLSON is a GRAMMY nominee and winner of 13 International Bluegrass Music Association awards, Darren Nicholson has taken his own brand of mountain music around the world. A regular for years on the Grand Ole Opry out of Nashville Tennessee, and a founding member of acclaimed bluegrass group Balsam Range his trio will bring a set of Bluegrass music that will leave us wishing to own his new album–Wanderer.
