The Daniel Boone Native Gardens, located near downtown Boone, N.C., contain an outstanding collection of native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers. More than 200 species of plant varieties provide a progression of blooms throughout the growing season.
We’re open daily during daylight hours – weather permitting.
Horticulturalist and gardeners at work:
Mondays 1pm – 4 pm
Thursdays 9 am – 12 pm
Saturdays 11 am – 1 pm
Donation $2, ages 16 and up. Dogs are not permitted, except service animals. Wheelchair access available at the Rockery entrance. Please contact us to arrange for assistance.
