Resting in the foothills of the Appalachians in Western North Carolina, the Yadkin Valley is rich in music and history. The convention site itself is next to the resting place of Laura Foster who was immortalized in the famous song “Tom Dooley”, first recorded by G.B. Grayson in 1929. Rustic camping is available on the Jones Farm along the Yadkin River. Camping fees are $10 per night and do not include admission. No electric or water hookups are available to individual campsites.
