All ASU students and their guests are offered a uniquely original campus experience: Legends! This is the name chosen by students for their own nightclub and social center.

Begun 20 years ago in a remodeled Winn Dixie Supermarket, it answered the question, “Where can students go safely to socialize and be entertained without driving mountain roads at night?” Legends is the only facility of its kind in North Carolina and research has not found another university in the Eastern U.S. duplicating its services. Its goals are to provide ASU students the best entertainment, be it musical, comedy, theater, etc. from both regional and national artists.

Legends is a host location for several of Joe Shannon’s Mountain Music Concerts.
