HCC offers a 2-year, degree and diploma seeking intensive course of studies in Clay, Fiber, Jewelry and Wood. Through a unique blend of studio experience, classroom education, and hands-on business experience, degree students achieve the skills necessary to become viable independent studio artists or to become valuable, skilled employees in the expanding craft industry. HCC offers continuing education classes and workshops in clay, fiber, metals, wood, painting, drawing, and music as well as design and computer classes. These classes are year-round and open to the public. Free business seminars such as Marketing for the Craftsperson are offered throughout the year to prepare students and serve the community with the information necessary to develop or participate in successful craft businesses.
