The Oconaluftee Visitor Center is located in Cherokee at the NC entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Follow Hwy 441 to the park. The visitor center is a half-mile from the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Oconaluftee Visitor Center offers a family friendly atmosphere with restroom facilities. The center is handicap accessible.
