Labeled the “oldest frame house west of the Blue Ridge” by Preservation North Carolina, our history comes alive as you tour this outstanding example of preservation of America’s rich Heritage. All this – and located right in the heart of North Carolina’s wonderful mountain vacation land.  

The recent rescue/restoration included installation of a catering kitchen.  The facility is available for rent for small affairs, parties, receptions, etc.  The first and second floors of the house are handicapped accessible.
